Microwave:
Put approximately one pound of chocolate in a glass container.
Heat for 1/2 minutes on a medium setting. Take out and stir. Repeat
this process until the chocolate is fully melted. This should take
three to four minutes.
Filling Molds:
With a spoon, pour melted chocolate in mold cavity. Tap the
filled mold on the table to bring any air bubbles to the surface.
If making lollipops, place stick in slot with your finger, roll
to coat the stick with the melted chocolate. Place mold in freezer.
Freezer time depends on thickness of the mold. You will know when
it's done by placing hand on outside of mold. If it's still warm,
it's not ready. Also, if you are having trouble releasing the finished
piece from the mold, it's not ready. Return it to the freezer.

Painting Colors:
Methods vary to keep small amounts of various colored chocolate
melted and ready to use. An electric frying pan, or pancake griddle
is suggested. Small cups such as Pyrex dishes are frequently used
to hold a very small amount of color desired.
Water can be placed in an
electric frying pan, to distribute heat. Some use a slight spacer
on the pancake griddle. The lowest possible setting is suggested.
If the chocolate gets thick after awhile, which cannot be helped,
put a very small amount of shortening in the chocolate, it should
smooth right out.
Painting makes your product
unique by your creative imagination. With a special food approved
brush, paint the melted color desired to the inside of the mold.
Freeze to set for just a minute or two. Do not allow to air dry.
Remove from freezer, wait until fogginess on mold clears and then
follow molding instructions above.
